For use where a
software supplier
allows customer to
order software via a
website. The
customer is required
to click on a button
on the website which
indicates its
acceptance of the
terms and conditions
set out in the
Clickwrap License.
It is important that
the supplier allows
the customer to view
the terms and
conditions of the
License on the
website prior to it
clicking its
acceptance. This
license can be
adapted by the
supplier to impose
particular licensing
restrictions on the
customer and
provides examples of
the type of
restrictions it may
wish to consider
imposing. Use the
Shrinkwrap License
version instead if
the software is to
be supplied in a
physical package
rather than
downloaded.
