For use where a
Supplier wishes to
provide hardware
maintenance services
to its customers but
needs to engage a
third party (the
Service Provider) to
actually perform the
hardware maintenance
on behalf of the
Supplier. This form
of agreement is
suitable where the
Supplier has a
number of customers
and wishes to have
the Service Provider
perform hardware
maintenance for each
of them within a
defined territory.
It is not designed
as a back-to-back
Subcontract for a
particular customer
contract - for such
a Subcontract see
the Subcontracts
category under
"Contract
Categories". This
version generally
favors the Supplier
rather than the
Service Provider.
